Christmas Creating Multiplication Arrays


This 10 page SMART Board lesson helps your students practice making multiplication arrays and writing number sentences. Each slide has a Christmas themed story problem. Students will use the infinitely cloned Christmas clip art to create their array. They will then use the pen to write the number sentence.

Subtraction Stories about Comparing on the Farm SMART Board Lesson


This farm themed SMART Notebook lesson is a perfect way to introduce your little ones to subtraction. Each slide has students comparing two groups of farm animals. Students will write the number sentence in the blank space. Students can check their work by clicking on the cloud to reveal the correct answer. Students will be focusing on "how many more".

Dragon Multiplication Facts SMART Board Matching Game


This is a self checking matching activity. Students will drag the math facts/answers into the middle of the screen for a match. If the answer is correct, the knight will deflect the dragon's fire. If not, the knight is not so lucky.

There are 9 slides of multiplication math fact practice. This would work great as a SMART Board center or large/small group lesson.

I created this SMART Board lesson to help my students practice their even and odd numbers. There are 9 slides of sorting practice for numbers 1-100. I used a Bee Keeper theme. Students will drag the bumblebees into the correct even or odd hive.

Subtraction Story Problems about Separating SMART Board Lesson Koosh ball game


This SMART Notebook lesson will help you teach subtraction story problems dealing with separation. There are 12 slides with a story problem on each. Students will read the story problem. They can use the SMART pen to mark out the correct number of pictures to show separation. Then they will use the SMART pens to write a number sentence that represents the pictures and story problem. 

This is set up as a koosh ball game. There is a game board for students to toss a koosh ball or simply tap the icons. This will take the students to new story problems.

Subtraction Expressions and Number Sentences Koosh Ball Game for SMART Notebook


I created this koosh ball activity to help your kiddos with learning early subtraction. Each slide has a domino that is missing dots on one side. The number box states the total number of dots that should be on the domino. Students will use the SMART pen to color in the missing dots. Then they will write a subtraction number sentence.

There are 16 slides with a problem on each. Use a koosh ball or simply tap on a fly to move to a new problem. Great for a small group or whole group lesson.

Subtraction Finding Missing Parts SMART Board Lesson


I created this activity for Kindergarten and 1st Grade. It can be used as an introduction to subtraction. This is a Koosh ball game with 12 slides. Each slide has a problem for them to solve. Students will be given the total number of penguins and shown a part of the group. Students can hold and drag on the penguins to create enough penguins to equal the total. They will use the pens to fill in the answers.


Valentine's Day Probability SMART Board Lesson


Here is a Smart Board Lesson that I created to help teach probability. There are several slides using a spinner. Students can predict their results. After making their predictions, they can spin the spinner and graph their data. I also have a slide using a coin toss with a graph. The last slides are probable outcomes. Enjoy!

Addition Number Sentences SMART Board Lesson


This SMART Board lesson introduces number sentences for addition. There are 10 slides with visual representations of number sentences using dominoes. Students will write the number sentence. They can click to reveal the answer for self checking.
For an extension, there are 4 slides with addition story problems. Students will write out the number sentence and drag to reveal the answer for self checking. Perfect for a whole group lesson or as a math station.


Valentine's Day Subtraction 2 digit with regrouping Smart Board Lesson


This Smart Board lesson lets your students practice subtraction with regrouping. There is a game board that links to 10 slides of practice. Students can solve the problem then click on the sticky note to reveal the answer. Great for a math station or as a whole group lesson. Happy Valentine's Day!
